She co-founded New York Law School’s Criminal Defense Clinic, shaping future caring professionals, and directed Externship Programs for over 20 years, bridging classroom learning with real-world experience
A sought-after lecturer and teacher, she led advocacy programs for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Dedicated to improving indigent defense, she co-chaired NYCLA’s Task Force and served on the IDOOC, and played a key role in NYCLA’s Federal Criminal Practice Institute, promoting diversity in federal court representation.
Additionally, she served on the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on the Judiciary.
